Well he finally did it today after a 76 race points race winless drought in the Sprint Cup series.  Dale Jr. took a huge gamble on fuel mileage and it paid off as he won the LifeLock 400 at Michigan International Speedway.

I've got to admit that I wasn't sure if he would make it or not but it sure made for an exciting end to the race today.  Technically the race did end under caution, but I think he still would have had enough fuel to make it to the checkered flag on the white flag lap.  His team is definitely really strong right now and I see them winning several more races before the year is over and having a very strong chance at winning the championship this year.  If you're a fan get your Dale Jr. nascar apparel here and get some great savings to celebrate his win today!

Now onto next week where Nascar heads to the wine country of Sonoma, California and Infineon Raceway.  There are still tickets available for great prices so get your Toyota/Save Mart 350 tickets here.  It should be an exciting race and look for the road racing stars in Nascar to do well as usual.

Wow that was another pretty exciting race today and I've got to say that Kyle Busch is absolutely on fire lately.  He grabbed his 4th win of the season today at the Best Buy 400 and he and his team look extremely strong.  The way things are going at this point they are a threat to win almost every single weekend.

There was also a pretty large wreck at the beginning stages of the race that took several of the Sprint Cup series points leaders out of contention in the race.  Elliot Sadler spun and Tony Stewart had nowhere to go and it was pretty much a pileup from there that also took out Dale Earnhardt Jr. and host of other drivers.

Next week I'm looking for another exciting event when the top drivers in the world head to the Pocono Speedway for the Pocono 500.  There are a variety of different types to tracks coming so this summer should be very interesting to see what happens with the Nascar Sprint Cup standings.

Wow that was a pretty exciting race last night and I really thought that Denny Hamlin was going to come out on top.  However with a flat tire that gave up the lead to Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Kyle Busch for a great battle.
